March is almost over and many of us may be asking ourselves, “New Years resolutions? What New Year resolutions?” It’s them same old story…we are ambitious in making resolutions at January 1….but as the weeks pass, we find ourselves forgetting what they even were. If you are one of those people, here are some tips to re-start your year on the right wellness foot:
Go Easy On Yourself
The New Year can really bring on the pressure, especially when you are setting targets/resolutions. Remember to go easy on yourself. Think and plan small, have a long term aim and plan for small steady changes, and keep in mind it’s about changing habits and a lifestyle that gets results. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it!
Water is our lifeblood as our bodies are made up of 75% water. Try to drink 1 liter per 50lbs of bodyweight. Keeping the body hydrated also helps your entire body. Especially hydrate before working out. Your muscles will thank you!
It’s February and Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. Many people may be seeking that one special person to spend it with. The question, “Will you be my Valentine” can be heard in the air, and whether you’re asking a brand new love or a long-term partner, the question can evoke feelings both of romantic uncertainty and possibility.
But for the well-being of ourselves and our relationships, “Will you be my Valentine?” may be the wrong question. Instead, the more important question to ask is “Should you be my Valentine?”
Relationships can be one of the most important sources of happiness in your life. So, not surprisingly, human beings are generally highly motivated to form and maintain relationships. After all, the future of humankind depends on people coupling up to conceive and raise the next generation. But because of this drive to form relationships, being in any relationship can seem better than being alone. A variety of factors can lure us into relationship complacency – compa...
As we are approaching the new year, the anxiety of becoming a new person kicks in. We self-reflect over the past year, and assume the pressure of somehow, miraculously, becoming a new person overnight.
I don’t believe in temporary, instant change. These types of changes usually don’t last as they are impulsive. Instead, I challenge you to change your life, and lifestyle habits step-by-step. I ask you to be easy on yourself. Slow down on judgment against yourself and the world around you. I ask you to understand that life happens, and things happen – not to you, but for you. Every challenge conquered is a lesson learned. Everything happens in your life just the way it should. Relief the stress and anxiety attached to your expectations of yourself and the plan you have for your life. Just be. Learn to love and accept yourself just the way that you are.
That would be a good New Year resolution: Acceptance of YOU just the way you are, just the way you were. And an open mind and heart for wha...
The holidays are a great time to connect with loved ones, and enjoy your family, although it can also be a stressful and an emotional time, depending on whether your loved ones are around to celebrate with you or not, and also on the quantity of food you consume.
Keeping the holiday season cheerful yet realistic is key.
Lower your expectations…and stress level
We often build up expectations around the holiday that are supposed to match up with our childhood memories. Remove expectations from loved ones to attend, from gifts to be received, or given and just focus on what you have in your life – even if it’s not physically, tangibly around you or in your hands. Allow yourself to enjoy your time off from work and focus on relaxing at home. Regardless of attendance, visits and gift giving expectations.
Leave Self-reflection to next year
This is the time of year where we self-reflect and think about the past year. All the dreams, goals, expectations we had of ourselves were either achieved, or...
An article was published recently about the three causes of disease per shamans.
Here is the article:
“Shamans know that the origin of all that exists is always a thought.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
The earth was without form and void and darkness covered the abyss
and the spirit of God hovered over the water.
God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light.
Old Testament, Genesis
In terms of the shaman, there are three classic causes of the disease, which, not surprisingly, are not bacteria, microbes or viruses, but rather the internal states.
The first cause is the disharmony, which happens when men lose a relationship important for them in life, or when they are devoid of the sense of belonging. For example disharmony occurs when, for an elderly couple suddenly one of them dies.
It often happens that in a year and a half, the other becomes ill with something as serious as cancer and dies. The disharmony produces a decrease of the personal power...
I was looking forward to sharing my experience with you after our first annual Intensive Healing Retreat in Greece. Experiences like that remind me of my purpose and mission in life, and seeing firsthand the impact I can have on people through ONDAMED and beyond is what gives me the fuel to keep going.
So here is a recap of our Healing Retreat in Greece last month;
We were a small and private group of 5 participants. Just the way I like it, as it allows me to personalize and customize the experience each of the attendees gets and assure maximum benefits.
Throughout the day we did different treatments as well as enjoyed each other’s company during dinners and lunches.
Some of the treatments we shared:
I dedicated 1.5 hours per day for ONDAMED treatments including homeopathy, Bach Flowers, and more inducing emotional release from crying to laughing, in the process of opening and transforming the participants into their true self.
Addiction comes in many shapes and forms. Even when it seems like we are pursuing healthy habits, we often get carried away into a lifestyle of addiction - Even when it’s to health.
Here are 5 areas where you might have an addiction to health:
My personal addiction is for water consumption. I can’t leave the house without a large bottle of water. I realized it when Rolf challenged me one time to leave the house without it and it was very hard for me to do. My fear is to run out of hydration.
It was confirmed to me by Dr. Valerie Hunt, with whom I had a sit down past life (life recession) review. She shared that in one of my past lives I was the wife of an African leader who apparently sent me out to the desert after I became more powerful than him. My influence over the tribe made him do that.
I died of dehydration.
I cannot prove that this is true, but I know that the fear is always hidden in me. I drink a lot of water, in a very large and open glass so water keeps flowin...
It’s all created in our mind first. We have a vision of what we want, desire, to feel and experience and we then attach it to a person, an individual, expecting them to fulfill all of that. We most of of the time end up disappointed. We then turn inwards and blame ourselves, and find lacks in us that we believe have brought that feeling upon us.
That is the torturing experience of the self-reflecting, self-aware soul. This will not be the journey of an un-aware spirit, as they will out-reflect and find all the wrong in the other person in front of them. But not the self-reflecting soul. This soul will find all the “wrong” within.
A great part of healing yourself and your spirit is learning to self-reflect without abusing yourself. Learning to love yourself through all your faults and imperfections. Learning that you are perfect just the way you are.
The easiest way to reach self-love is loving yourself the way you were – as a child. Starting there. And loving you...
I had a proud mommy moment this month as we released my son Randy’s first music production. Randy has been the topic of my stories around ONDAMED as I discovered the healing potential of ONDAMED through him. Remember, I used it to dissolve a 1cm thrombus on his heart valve when he was 5 and he proved to be unresponsive to Coumadin treatment. His response to ONDAMED enabled him to avoid an already scheduled open cardiac surgery. Randy’s healing was my inspiration to bring this transformational technology and its personalized method to millions of people around the world. This work truly is a mission of the heart.
Randy, now 20 has grown to be a very emotionally connected man, and found his creativity and soulful passion in music. His debut single DIARY from his up and coming EP Lockedown can be found here.
As I enjoy his music, and connect all the dots to our efforts to bring healing, I was looking into the subject of Music Therapy and the healing powers in music and found this interestin...
Your mind is a powerful thing. It's leading your thoughts, into your feelings, into your body and into action. You design your life through the eyes of your mind, the vision in your head.
Your soul though is another story. Your soul knows your purpose. Your soul knows your path. And it has a way to send you signals when you're in the right direction or when you're stirring off. Through intuition, dreams, and through your body.
When you're not in an alignment between your thoughts, feelings, actions and your soul and purpose, your body takes the toll and produces illness. Diss-ease. Listening to your body. Recognizing the signals it sends, the alarms, is the way to self-healing.
Living in a lifestyle of prevention is ideal. Avoiding toxins, keeping healthy habits, connecting to nature, grounding and meditating are ways to keep that connection between your body, mind and soul. But if you do get off the path and your body took the toll there are still ways to heal and reverse the affe...
